Así como una perspectiva explotada nos permite ver la forma en la que un objeto está construido, con sus partes, sus uniones, sus tornillos, mi intención es explotar este compendio de saberes oficiales; dejar al descubierto algunos indicios que nos ayuden a entender cómo es que está construida nuestra visión sobre los cuerpos y su normalización, la salud y la enfermedad, lo aceptado y lo inaceptable.
Realizo operaciones sobre sus imágenes, sus textos y las relaciones que se tejen a lo largo de la edición. Ante todo ando rastreando los orígenes de mi dolor.
Just as an exploited perspective allows us to see the way an object was built, with it’s parts, it’s joints, it’s screws, my intention is to exploit this compendium of official knowledge; reveal some clues that help us understand how our vision of bodies and their normalization, health and disease, the accepted and the unacceptable was built.
I carry out operations on it’s images, it’s texts and the links that are tied throughout the original edition. In any case I am tracing the origins of my pain.
